Dignity and respect for everyone who works with us
At Mednet, everyone who works for us has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. We do not tolerate harassment, bullying or sexual harassment of our people by anyone, including the clients and partners we work with.
Who this applies to

our clients and their teams
healthcare professionals, speakers and advisory board members
suppliers, freelancers and agencies working with us
venues, hotels and event organisers
other attendees at conferences, congresses and events
visitors to our office
It applies wherever our people are working: in our office or yours, at home, at conferences and events, while travelling, and in meetings, calls, video calls, emails, messages and on social media.
Behaviour we will not accept
We will not accept any of the following towards our people:
sexual comments, jokes, gestures, advances or questions about someone's private life
unwanted touching or invading someone's personal space
sending or showing sexual or offensive images or messages
comments or jokes about someone's sex, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation or gender reassignment
threatening, intimidating, abusive or belittling language or behaviour, including in meetings and on calls
pressure to attend private gatherings or hotel rooms, or to drink
This applies whether the behaviour is face-to-face, by phone, in writing or online, and whether or not it was meant to cause offence.
What we will do if it happens
If any of our people experiences this behaviour, we will act. Depending on what has happened, we may:
support our team member to end the call or meeting, or leave the event, without any penalty to them
raise the matter with a senior contact in your organisation, and expect it to be looked into and dealt with
ask for the person to be removed from any work involving Mednet
change the team working on the account or project
review or end our working relationship or contract
report any criminal behaviour to the police
We will always take our people's concerns seriously, and we will support them throughout.
